Norwich Fire District and Municipal Water Department

The Fire District Office is open 20 to 25 hours per week, Monday through Friday, between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. We are in and out of the office during the day. To assure that someone will be here call 649-3474 and leave a message with your name and telephone number so that we can arrange a time to meet.

Meetings of the Prudential Committee are held on the third Monday of each month at 5:30 p.m. in Tracy Hall, unless otherwise posted.

The Norwich Fire District owns and operates a Municipal Water System in the Village which provides approximately 310 homes and 20 commercial businesses with potable water. The Fire District's objectives are to maintain an adequate supply of superior potable water and a water supply for fire protection within the Fire District of the Town of Norwich.
